Most pelvic floors aren't weak. They're tense.

Kegels make it worse.

I'm Chloe Evans, pelvic health physio. 17 years in physio, 5 in pelvic health.

I work with women who've got prolapse, leaks, heaviness or pelvic pain and have been told their symptoms are normal.

They're not.

ABOUT ME

I'm Chloe. I'm a pelvic health physio.

I think most women have been told to squeeze a pelvic floor that's already gripping, and it's making them worse. I've watched women hand over their kegel homework and come back six months later with heavier prolapse, more leaks, more pain. And then get told to squeeze harder.

I qualified as a physio in 2009. I trained as an APPI Pilates instructor after a snowboarding injury of my own. After my daughter was born in 2019 I retrained in pelvic health, because the support women were getting before and after birth was nowhere near good enough. Five years in pelvic health, 17 in physio overall.

What I do is different. I start with the breath. The jaw. The neck. The shoulders. We get the pelvic floor to relax before we ever ask it to work. Then we mobilise. Then we strengthen. In that order.

It works for women with prolapse, leaks, heaviness, urgency, pelvic pain, painful sex, diastasis. It works for women who've been to four physios already and not been heard. It works for women in their 30s, their 50s, their 70s.

If you've been doing your kegels and feeling worse, you're not broken. You've been given the wrong job.

Testimonials

Real women. Real prolapse. Real change.

Every quote below is from a woman who came to me with prolapse symptoms. All shared with permission.

Anonymous. Saw four pelvic health physios before me. Came in with dragging, heaviness and urinary frequency.

"Chloe is the fourth pelvic health physio I have sought advice from but the first to really highlight the importance of relaxing in between pelvic floor contractions, and it makes such a difference. Being diagnosed with a prolapse (especially at a younger than average age) is a hard pill to swallow and can feel incredibly isolating. Chloe's warm, friendly approach makes you feel at ease and like no question is a silly one."

Patricia. Tried kegels and pessaries. Neither worked.

"I thought this was it for life. I didn't want an op and the pessaries didn't work. By the fourth week of the course I suddenly realised I hadn't felt the discomfort for a few days. The prolapse hasn't reversed, but I'm only aware of it a couple of times a week instead of all the time. I always felt tense trying repetitive kegels or the Squeezy app. This course teaches you how to relax and how to strengthen other muscles, not just the pelvic floor."

"I felt like my life was over."

Julie. Stopped exercising entirely before working with Chloe.

"Six months ago I was a mess both physically and emotionally. I had completely stopped exercising for fear of making my prolapse worse. Literally felt like my life was over. I stumbled across Chloe's Facebook page and what a breath of fresh air. I feel so much stronger in my legs, glutes, back and pelvic floor, which has certainly made me think about my prolapse a lot less than I was."

"What I thought was a weak pelvic floor was actually tight."

Jo, in Scotland. Sent home from the GP with a leaflet.

"Poor NHS help, handed a leaflet and told to do kegels. No pelvic floor check. What I thought was a weak pelvic floor was actually tight. I'm now more aware of the importance of connective pathways: relaxing jaws and shoulders, which helps with relaxing the pelvic floor. Breathing properly. Consistency of showing up to the mat. You truly are very knowledgeable, approachable, and your instructions are very clear."

"Severe to very mild."

Jenny. Came in convinced kegels weren't working. Was right.

"Kegels were a huge chore with no evidential benefits. The advice I'd been given was starting to make no sense. You'll learn the mechanics of your body, which should help you understand why your kegels are maybe not working. It's an investment, but you get the recordings to work with forever, which is very rare in the world of pelvic health physio."
